COLUMBUS - Carol L. (Gbur) Neuberger, 58, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. Carol was born on July 19, 1952 in Lowellville, Ohio, a daughter of Barney and Blanche E. Petersen Gbur. She lived in the area until 1989, then moved to Belpre, Ohio, then Columbus. She worked as a supervisor at the Friendship Village Nursing Home in Dublin, OH. She was an avid gardner and loved to share what she grew with others. Carol leaves her husband of twenty-two years, Dave S. Neuberger of Columbus and her son David B. Neuberger at home. She leaves three sisters, Sandra Shaffer of Warren, OH, Linda (Jeff) Kulow of Struthers, OH, and Donna Gbur of Poland, OH; along with several nieces and nephews, Jackie, Cindy, John, Tim Shaffer and Rick (Rachel) O'Donnell and Rob (Lisa) O'Donnell. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and two sons Paul Jason Swaney and Justin Paul Swaney>
