Obituary

STRUTHERS – A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior/St. Nicholas Church, in Struthers, for Carmena L."Carm" Colick, 95, who passed away at Assumption Village on Thursday evening, December 4th. Carmena was born August 20, 1919 in Bessemer, PA, a daughter of Leonard and Rose Gugliotto Bartolone. She was a lifelong area resident of Struthers, and was a member of Christ Our Savior/St. Nicholas Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Carmena was also a member of the Croation Mothers Club and Struthers Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and baking. Carmena married John Colick, Sr. on October 20, 1940 and he passed away June 14, 2003. She leaves two sons, Nicholas R. (Ruthann) Colick of Norcross, GA and Michael Colick of Struthers; seven grandchildren, Paul Kovach, Kim (Kovach) Dundics, Rick Kovach, Jason Colick, Adam Colick, John Colick and George Stephens; eleven great grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Carmena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, John A. Colick; one daughter Roseann Kovach, one brother Frank Bartolone and three sisters, Frances DiLullo, Nina Errea and Mary Lobardo. Friends may call at the church, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Flower deliveries can be made to Christ Our Savior Parish on Wednesday morning.
