STRUTHERS – Carl E. Flesher, 68, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Thursday  morning April 2, 2026.

Carl was born on September 20, 1957 in Ellwood City, PA,   a son of George F. and Bertha I. Assalone  and lived in the area his whole life.  He served in the U.S. Army and  he  worked  for the Bruce Sikora Excavating Co. installing sewer lines, and then owned  his own construction company, Flesher Construction, which he was most proud of. He was of the protestant faith and enjoyed playing golf, reading, old movies, older cars, and especially loved his family.

Carl married the former Dalaine M. Peluso  on March 18, 1978. Besides his wife of Struthers he leaves one son, Carl James Flesher of Campbell, OH; he leaves four brothers  Gary L. (Darlene) Flesher of Lowellville, OH, Richard (Louise) Flesher of Poland, OH, Dennis Flesher of North Carolina and Darryle  K. (Kim) Flesher of New Middletown, OH.  Five sisters Debbie I. (Danny) Brothers of New Middletown, OH, Terry L. (Mike) Felton of Youngstown, OH,  Christine E. (Bob) Simione of  Lowellville, OH, Kimberly S. (Tom Probst) McConnell of  Youngstown, OH and Robin M. (Ennio)  Iacovone of  Campbell, Ohio.           .

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and, one sister Sandy L. Shipley.

Friends may call on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Clemente Funeral home in Struthers.
