New Middletown – A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at

7:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown for Brenda Jean Allen who

passed away at Hospice House on Monday evening, August 13, 2018.

Brenda was born June 24, 1951 in Warren, Ohio a daughter of Anthony and Natalie Chico Setting.

She retired as a receptionist working for Dr. Ting.  She enjoyed cooking and loved spending her time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Brenda married Donald "Don" Joseph Allen on September 1, 2011.

Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Clint (Stacy) Oaks of Cortland, OH, Keith (Dian) Oaks of London, OH; step-son Chris Allen of Petersburg; step-daughters Bonnie (Chris) Logue of Canal Winchester, OH, Danielle May of Port Clinton, OH; one sister Darlene Setting;  two brothers, Joe (Kathy) Setting of Southington, OH, Sandy (Barb) Setting of Niles, OH; ten grandchildren Colin and Avery Oaks, Kayla and Alicia Logue, MacKenzie, Chris, Angel, Cheyenne Allen, Ashliegh and Tori May and one great grandchild Caleb Wilson, and her special grand dog "Grady."

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Bernard Setting and a sister Rosemary Merwin.

Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home in New Middletown.
