Services: Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
Visitation: Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
YOUNGSTOWN-Bonnie M. Ball, 92, of Youngstown, passed away on Wednesday afternoon at the Park Vista Retirement Community Center. Bonnie was born on October 23, 1919 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Nora Daugherty. She was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of East High School. Bonnie retired as a secretary from the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company in 1971. She was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church in Boardman where she was very active. Bonnie was an avid tap dancer and a long time student of Tony Romeo. She was active with, All That Jazz, a member of the Golden Age Follies, and was also a member of the East High Girls Luncheon Club. Bonnie married Richard Ball on April 30, 1948 and he passed away on April 27, 1992. She is survived by one nephew, William (Maria) Daugherty of Louisville, OH; great nephews, William Daugherty and David Daugherty; one great niece, Georgette Radisic; a brother-in-law, John (Jane) Ball and long time friends, Tom and Diane Malloy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, William Daugherty and her longtime companion Richard Robart. A heart felt thanks goes to the staffs of Valley Care Health Systems (North Side Hospital), St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Park Vista for their compassionate care of Bonnie.
