New Middletown – Funeral Services will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in New Middletown for Betty J. Parker, 98, who passed away at Hampton Woods on Monday evening January 22, 2018.

Betty was born on March 13, 1918 in Struthers, Ohio, a daughter of Oliver C. and Esther Grischow Evans.

She was a lifelong area resident and worked in the food preparation industry. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she helped with funeral luncheons, and was part of the church's ladies group. She also enjoyed going on trips with her friends.

Betty married Anthony W. Parker in 1964 and he passed away in1988.

She leaves three step-daughters, Sandra J. Robinson of New Middletown, OH; Shirley A. Wall of Struthers; Teddi Kirsten of Cleveland, OH; one brother James (Rita) Evans of San Antonio, TX and four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, Edward, Raymond, Oliver, Robert and Donald Evans; two sisters Virginia Garner and Nancy Cook.

Friends may call on Saturday at the church one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
