Poland - Betty A. McFarland, 86, of Poland passed away on Sunday morning at Humility House in Austintown. Betty was born on October 31, 1925 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of Steve and Mary Liposchok Lipka. She was a devoted housewife and mother and also was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing board games and poker with her sisters and building puzzles. Betty married Glen E. McFarland on August 2, 1947 and he passed away on August 29, 1994. She leaves one son Ken G. (Phill Wilkinson) McFarland of Columbus, OH; one step-son Jim McFarland of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter Karen A. DiRocco of Slippery Rock, PA; one sister Rose (Sis) (Joe) Agnello of Struthers, OH and two grandchildren Ashley and Emily. She also leaves a daugher-in-law, Kathy McFarland of Struthers, OH. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother John Lipka, one sister Marie (Honey) Butchko and one grandchild Tracey.
