A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at the St. Paul the Apostle Church in new Middletown for Bernadette C. Becker, 94, who passed away on Saturday morning at Hampton Woods. Bernadette was born November 20, 1921 in Pittsburgh a daughter of George and Margaret Conley Godfrey. She moved to Poland and then to New Middletown where she lived with her husband Joseph A. Becker, Sr. who she married September 25, 1940.  She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle and volunteered as a pirohy worker and was a member of the altar guild.  She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Counsel and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Bernadette leaves four sons Joseph (Karen) Becker of Poland, George (Ma Hackett) Becker of Pittsburgh, Richard (Bernadine) Becker of  North Lima, and Thomas (Jocelyn) Becker of Pittsburgh, three daughters Maureen (Dennis) O'Connor of Manistee, Michigan, Margaret (Frank) Long of Baltimore, Maryland, and Mary Jayne (Bill) Cramer of Pittsburgh, one son-in-law James Repasky and 24 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph, who died August 9, 2006, and two daughters Joan Scandrett and Kathy Repasky. Bernadette's family wished to extend their appreciation to the staff of Hampton Woods for their kind and compassionate care. Friends may call this evening at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am to 10:45 prior to the mass at St. Paul the Apostle.
