She leaves a daughter, Lisa Marie Pavel of New Middletown, OH and granddaughter Nicole Marie Zenn of Boardman, OH. She resided with son Robert J. Pavel, Jr and daughter-in-law Jenn, grandson Thomas Miguel and granddaughter Olivia Grace of California, MD. Son, Thomas M. Pavel in Odessa, FL. Her daughter Christina Marie Pavel is deceased and left Barbara 4 grandchildren, Beth Ann Pavel, Charlie Ann Flesch, Amber Rae and Alden Thomas Profanchik. Two great grandchildren Autumn and Benton.

Her brother Thomas Matasic and sister-in-law live in Austintown.

Her husband John E. Berchik, her parents Thomas and Frances Matasic and brother James Matasic are deceased.

Friends may call at St. Nicholas /Christ Our Savior Church in Struthers, OH   Friday October 11, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. following the showing.
