Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Nicholas Church) and at 10:30 a.m. at Clemente Funeral Home, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

STRUTHERS - Assunta (Sue) Del Signore, a longtime resident of Struthers, OH and recent resident of Assumption Village Nursing Home, North Lima died peacefully on Thursday morning, December 1st after a brief illness. She was born Assunta Marie Fiadino on November 22, 1916 in Roebling, New Jersey to Carmen and Lucia (Monaca) Fiadino. She moved to Struthers, OH after her marriage to Venango (Vee) Del Signore on June 17, 1939. There she and Vee raised their three children and were looking forward to celebrating their 50 year anniversary when he died suddenly just days before. Sue was a homemaker, working 10 years at the Moyer Company in Youngstown after her children graduated from school. She was active with the St. Vincent DePaul Sociey, Altar and Rosary Society of St. Nicholas Church, St. Anthony's Club and the Sulmona Valley Club. She also assisted in cleaning St. Nicholas Church weekly. Her favorite hobbies included bingo, senior tour trips, bowling, cooking, baking and caring for her grandchildren. In her later years she lived with her son in Poland and her daughter in Boardman. Sue is survived by her sons Vincent (Mary Jane) Del Signore of Poland, Michael (Mariann) Del Signore of Sandusky and her daughter Cecelia (Edward) Dolansky of Boardman; her grandchildren Kenneth Del Signore, Patti Sue (Chuck) Williams, Vincent Del Signore, Sandra Del Signore, David (Carol) Del Signore, Christopher (Kelly) Del Signore, Mike Del Signore, Nicole (Heath) Woodward, Joseph (Cathy) Dolansky and Brian Dolansky, Cindy Best, Jff (Julie) Collingwood and Jamie (Katy) Collingwood; her sisters Jenny Bocca, Edna Pagano, both of Burlington, New Jersey. Sue will also be misssed by many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Venango in 1989, a grandson Edward Joseph Dolansky in 1968, a great granddaughter Brianna Lynn Dolansky in 1998, and her sisters Mary Adari, Anne Centofante, Ida DeLisio, Helen Letterio, Septemia Babalia, Emma Casey, Rose Carty and one brother and one sister in infancey. Her family would like to thank the staff of Assumption Village for their attention, dedication and loving care for their mother and grandmother during her later years.
