Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

Visitation: There will be no calling hours.

POLAND-Antonette Buffone, 86, of Poland, passed away on Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown. Antonette was born on July 15, 1926 in Boiano in the Province of Compobasso, Italy, a daughter of Salvatore and Isabella Prioriello Mignella. She married Richard Buffone on February 18, 1950 and he passed away on May 30, 1987. Antonette was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. She loved to do embroidery, canning, gardening, caring for others, making homemade cavatell and spaghetti and cooking Italian foods. Antonette leaves behind four daughters, Diana Trella of Niles, Alvera (Vera) Buffone of Youngstown, Nancy Buffone of Forth Worth, Texas and Tina Buffone of Youngstown; one sister, Anna DelSignore of West Palm Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Deborah Haines, Leslie Warren, Nedra Trella and Aaron Trella; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Haines and Khloe Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Mary Tesyk and Tina Buffone; and one brother, Peter Mignella. The family wishes to give special thanks to the surgical staff and nurses in the Surgical ICU at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center.
