Struthers – A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market Street, Boardman, OH 44512. for Anthony D. Galioto, Jr., 65, of Struthers who passed away at his residence on Wednesday afternoon. Anthony was born January 29, 1950 in Youngstown, OH, a son of Anthony D. and Carmel R. Bruno Galioto. He lived in the area his entire life and graduated from Wilson High School in 1968 and was in the marching band and drama club. Anthony served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He set a weight lifting record at the YMCA and was passionate about lifting and working out. He attended YSU and was a member of the Delta Eta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Anthony was a life long area musician, worked at the Mahoning County Probate Court and was a "licensed massage therapist" Anthony married the former Jayne Smith on April 1, 1978. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves five children, Angela (Shane) Russo of Struthers, Dave (Yvonne Berlin) Galioto of Struthers, James R. Galioto of Pittsburgh, PA, Andrea (Kevin) Lambe of Struthers and Pamela J. Galioto of Struthers; one brother Pat (Mary) Galioto of Cincinnati, OH and six grandchildren, Louie Galioto, Dominic, Mia, Gino Lambe and Carmen and Emmett Russo. Anthony was known by his grandchildren as "Papa". He was preceded in death by his father. Friends may call at the church one hour before the service on Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Material contributions can be made in Anthony's name to the family to help with expenses.
