Funeral Services will be held for Anthony E. Demain formerly of Struthers who passed away Wednesday at Omni Manor Nursing Facility. Anthony was born September 4, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Ralph and Rose Peel DeMain. He resided in the area his entire life. He served in the Army during WWII in Okinawa from Feb. 7, 1946, to July 4, 1947. He was a 1947 graduate of East High School. He married Josephine A. Corvino on April 24, 1954. He worked at Reynolds Bookout in sales and as a truckdriver at Berkowitz Fish Co. and retired in 1989. Anthony was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church and their Senior Citizen Group and Alter and ROsary Society, Temasters Local 377 and he enjoyed bowling, dancing and bingo. He is survived by his son Jack M. (Mary Beth) DeMain of Struthers, five grandshildren Jack, Joseph, and James White and Colleen and Tricia Crowe, and three great grandchildren Isabella, Jack and Joshua WHite. He is preceeded in death by his wife who passed away January 13, 2006, his daughter Theresa Lynn Crowe, two brothers Patrick and THomas DeMain and one sister Martha Perry.
