Services: Services will be a 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers and at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Church in New Bedford, Pa.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, where a rosary service will be held at 4:30 p.m. prior to calling hours.

Lowellville - Anna J. Salaka, 88, of Lowellville passed away Sunday morning at Pembrook Place in Youngstown. Anna was born on February 13, 1921 in Campbell, a daughter of Martin and Maria Scerbak Salaka and had been a lifelong area resident. She had worked for Truscon Steel, King's Motel and at Villa Maria Community Center for 30 years. She was a member of the church and it's Christian Women's Organization. She had also worked the Friday Fish Dinners at the church and had also belonged to the Coitsville Senior Citizens group. Anna leaves her daughter, Geraldann Salaka and her sister, Helen Steele with both of whom she had made her home. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew and Joseph Salaka and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Dorko and her infant sister, Helen Salaka.
