Struthers – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for Anna M. Melone, 85, who passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House in Poland. Anna was born March 18, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Alois and Maria Bindel Frank. She lived in the area her whole life and worked as a manager of the billing department at Isaly's Dairy. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church, where she worked the festival, bingo, and was a room mother at the school. She enjoyed bingo, going to casinos and she loved to go to her cottage at Lake Milton surrounded by her family. Anna married Paul D. Melone on October 2, 1954. Besides her husband, she leaves four children, Maryann Bartko of Hubbard, Paul D. (Tammy)  Melone, Jr. of Struthers, Kathy (Dale) Haag of Poland, and Julie (Gary) Meehan of Lake Milton, Ohio.; one sister, Margot Bednar of Poland; seven grandchildren, Dale (Sarah), Sarah (Rob), Melanie (Jason), Becky (Dave), Vincent, Collin, Jay and five great-grandchildren, Audrey, Savannah, Trent, Izabelle, and Amelia. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Rita and her husband Dick McBurney; a brother-in-law Bo Bednar and a son-in-law Jerry Bartko. Friends may call today, Thursday June 30th, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and on Friday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
