Services: A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to 10:00 a.m. at the church, one hour prior to the mass, at St. Paul The Apostle Church in New Middletown
Poland - Ann H. Pavlic, 86, of Poland passed away Monday at Hospice House of Poland, with her family by her side. Ann was born May 1, 1923 in Youngstown, a daughter of Nicholas and Mary Evankovich Zaluski. She graduated from Struthers High School in 1941 and worked at General Fireproofing during World War II. She also worked at GE Lamp Company; was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers and a member of their altar guild. She later moved to Poland and joined St. Paul's. Ann married John J. Pavlic, Sr. on July 20, 1946. Ann leaves her son and caretaker, John J. (Sonny) Pavlic, Jr. of Poland; a daughter, Francene M. Cubellis of New Castle, PA; two grandchildren, Tracy (Bill) Pocza of New Castle and Jaime (Bryan) Glaspeel of Girard; three great grandchildren Kayle, Jordan, and Kassidy Pocza and her dear friend Mary DeLost of Struthers. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John who died August 9, 1986, and two brothers, Steven and Charles Zaluski. Ann's family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at St. Elizabeth's Boardman Campus; the Woodlands at Hampton Woods and a special thank you to Dr. Mashburn, Sally and Diane from Hospice House for all the tender loving care that they provided and to Dr. Tom Detesco and Dr. Yossef.
