New Middletown – A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown for Ann P. Kutchel, 95 who passed away Tuesday afternoon at Hampton Woods. She was born May 10, 1921 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Paul and Anna Solonya Berdy. Ann grew up in Carbon, PA, moving to Lowellville and then residing in New Middletown. Ann was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and the Morning Mass Group and the Altar Guild. She married Joseph A. Kutchel on November 16, 1946 and he passed August 23, 2001. Ann leaves one son, John (Virginia "Ginny") Kutchel of New Middletown; two grandchildren, Michelle Kutchel and Daniel (Felicia) Kutchel and four great grandchildren, Stephanie, Rebecca, Abigail and Gwendolyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; three brothers, Michael, John and Paul Berdy; three sisters, Mary Olinik, Catherine Kodash and Tassie Blazinic. The family would like to thank the staff of Hampton Woods for the care they gave to Ann.
