STRUTHERS - Andrew Brown Laverock, Sr., 62, of Ridgeway Street, Struthers passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22,2008. Andrew was born July 24, 1946, in Youngstown, the son of William Laverock and Mary E. Bray Laverock Williamson. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967 and fought in Viet Nam. He married Kay Hummel on May 19, 1973. Andrew worked at General Extrusions for 40 years. He was a member and past treasurer of the United Steel Workers Local #5154, a member of the Monday night bowling league at the Bowladrome in Struthers and an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. Andrew leaves his wife, three children, Michael of Columbus; one brother, Charles (Joan) Laverock of Struthers; two grandchildren, Keara Laverock of Struthers and Brant Campbell of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, William J. Laverock.
