CHAMPAIGN, ILL.-Agnes F. Fallat, 87, died on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana, Ill. Agnes was born on Feb. 22, 1925, in Struthers, a daughter of Stephen and Sophie Blasko Gonda. She married George J. Fallat on Jan. 11, 1947. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2003. Surviving are her daughter, Kathleen F. (Bill) Conlin of Champaign and a grandson, Matthew Conlin of Vancouver, British Columbia. Also surviving are sister, Betty McClure of Struthes and sister, Mary Williams of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brbara; husband, George; sisters, Sophie Mihalko and Margaret Poghen; and brothers, Steve, Paul and William Gonda, all of Youngstown. Arrangements are being handled by the Clemente Funeral Home of Struthers, and Renner-Wikoff Chapel of Urbana. The family wishes to thank the staff of the dementia unit of the Champaign County Nursing Home for their loving care of Agnes, especially Sarah, Mary, Mary Ann, and Jean-Marie who treated her for nearly four years.
