Timothy Charles Stewart passed away suddenly at his home on Father’s Day, June 17, 2018 with his loving wife, Diamond at his side.
He was born on August 15, 1949 in Youngstown, the son of the late Donald and Dora Mae Stewart.
Our Dad always made us laugh with his quirky sense of humor and silliness. That will be missed by us the most. Our Dad did not have many hobbies (except for watching Judge Judy and People’s Court and gardening) but he helped raise seven kids in some lean times. That was his greatest calling. We never went without the essentials in life which he instilled in his kids. His sense of fashion would make us laugh with his flannel shirts and clashing suspenders, jeans and tennis shoes that never mattered to him. His 20 grandchildren (one on the way) and one great-grandchild (one on the way also) did matter which made him a great man. Dad worked many jobs over the years before retiring as a maintenance worker at the old Liberty Plaza.
He leaves behind his wife, Diamond of 48 years; seven children-Mike Smith, Tim (Jessica Miller), Christine (Brian) Skinner, Joseph, Sheri (Chuck Maurer) Richardson, Jeffrey (Rosa), and John ‘PeeWee’ (Alicia Broll); two brothers, Tom Savin and John (Cindy) Stewart; his dog, Daisy and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob Savin and Bill Stewart and a sister, Carol Girardi.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 25th from 4-7 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in our dad’s name.
Thank you.
