Theresa "Tina" (Romeo) Segretario

A prayer service will be held Friday, June 1, at 9:45 am at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 10:30 am on at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville for Theresa “Tina” Romeo Segretario, 87, who died Sunday, May 27, at the Hospice House.

Theresa was born June 27, 1930, in Lowellville to James and Maria (Aurillio) Romeo and raised by Catherine and Phillip Alfano.  She graduated from Lowellville High School in 1948 and worked at Red Lobster.  She married Charles Segretario on December 1, 1956, and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2004.  Theresa was a member of Christ Our Savior / St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, Lowellville Ladies of Mt. Carmel, Struthers St. Anthony’s Ladies Auxiliary, Lowellville Senior Citizens, and Lowellville Ladies Bocce.

Theresa leaves behind three daughters Mary (George) Kopec of Bedford, OH, Diana (Albert) Ehlert of Kent, OH, and Teresa (Brian) Morella of Poland, four grandchildren Anastasia and Luke Ehlert, Vincent Paris, and Angelo Morella, brother Bruce (Theresa) Romeo and, foster sister, Frances Carcelli, and her special pet, “Mugsee”.

Theresa was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Domenic Romeo, five half brothers, Frank, Carmen, John, Anthony and James Pitzulo, and two half sisters, Carmel Alfano and Rosemary Pitzulo.

Theresa’s family would like to thank Dr. Maged Awadalla and his staff for their kindness and the wonderful care provided by the staff of Hospice House.

Friends may call on Thursday evening, May 31, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
