POLAND- A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at the St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown for Ronald “Jim” Molaskey, 74, who passed away on Monday morning at the Hospice House.
Ronald was born on February 14, 1944 in Hermitage, PA a son of Joseph C. and Mary Tebelak Molaskey.
He went to college at the University of Tennessee where he played football and became a lifelong Volunteer fan. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and came to this area in 1968. He was a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Church and worked at his family’s business, MVG Auto and later became co-owner before retiring in 2000. Ronald enjoyed fishing and relaxing at his cottage on Pymatuming Lake. He liked working in his gardens and spending time with his family and especially loved to attend as many sporting events that he could get to of his grandkids.
Ronald leaves his wife the former Phyllis L. Brooks whom he married on Oct 5, 1968. Besides his wife he leaves his two children Erik (Jennifer) Molaskey and Lesly (Randy) Lesnak. Two brothers Joe and Chuck Molaskey, Also two grandchildren Madison and Tyler Lesnak, a sister –in-law Terry Childress and many nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-laws Stella and Nickie Molaskey.
Friends may call on Friday at the church two hours before the service from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
