Nancy A. Kendall, 86, passed away peacefully, Thursday February 9th, 2017.

Nancy was born on May 5th, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of George A. and Rose (Timmerman) Schilling.

She married Duane Kendall on July 30th, 1948, with whom she had 7 children.

Nancy graduated from The Rayen School in 1948.  She lived in the area her whole life and was a homemaker.  In her spare time she had her own business Knits by Nancy where she crocheted items and sold them at craft shows. 

Nancy loved music, crocheting, and socializing with everyone around.  She was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where she also pinched pirohy for years.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Ralph M. Kendall of Liberty, OH; her daughters Gwen (Donald) Graber of McLean, VA, Jeanette (Dale) Kocher of Poland, OH; nine grandchildren Joshua (Sue) Kendall, Joel (Lorin) Kendall, Jennifer Graber (Alex) Anvari, Crystal Link, Kyle Kendall, Christopher (Andrea) Kocher, Amber (Corey) Richards, Lauren Kocher and Nathaniel Kendall along with nine great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Duane Kendall; sons Mark Kendall, Keith Kendall, Carl Kendall, Neil Kendall; brothers Robert and Jack Schilling and a sister Rosemary Woytek.

There will be a memorial service for family and friends to celebrate Nancy’s life at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers on Sunday, February 12th from 4:00pm – 4:30pm.  Calling Hours are immediately following from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
