New Middletown – Carol A. Black, 57, of New Middletown, passed away peacefully Thursday night at her residence.
Carol was born July 28, 1960, in Salem, the daughter of Eugene & Charlotte Macklin.
She married the love of her life David E. Black Sr. on January 7, 1978.
She worked at Control System Manufacturing in New Middletown as a wire technician and had so much pride in her work. Carol was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed going out on the motorcycle with her husband, having sleepovers with her grandchildren, and spending quality time with those she loved.
Carol will be sadly missed and forever cherished by her husband, David Sr.; one son David (Summer) Black Jr. of Canfield; two daughters Brandy Black (Kristopher Lipscomb) of New Middletown and Jessica (Richard) Ricketts of Columbiana; two brothers Robert (Patti) Macklin of Columbiana and Larry Macklin of Leetonia; one sister Colleen (Bill) Heverly of Leetonia, and eight grandchildren Kameron, Jennifer, Nicole, Alec, Lacey, Kaylee, Dallas and Grace.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Charlotte Macklin.
