Aurora – A prayer service will be on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers, for Ann (Vidumansky) Gatze  who passed away August 12, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Ann, who lived in Struthers, Ohio for most of her life, moved to Aurora, IL to be close to her son, his wife and children.

Ann was born March 29, 1930 in Struthers, Ohio, the youngest child of Frank and Mary Farkasofsky Vidumansky.

Before moving to Aurora, she was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/ St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially while on vacation and the holidays. She enjoyed hosting New Year’s Eve for the family at her house, and spending many summers at the Leetonia Sportman’s Club while camping. She was a great blessing and comfort to her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Mike in 1986, and by her son Kenny Gatze in 2010. 

She is survived by her son Bob Gatze, his wife Rose, who took very good care of her, their two children and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her deceased son, Kenny’s, three children and six grandchildren.

Friends may call on Friday at the Clemente Funeral Home, one hour before the prayer service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
